Teaching The Blind

Team Game ⚫ 5 Blindfolded Players ⚫ 5 Participating Players ⚫ 1 Extra Player ⚫ 20+ minutes Blindfolded ⚫ Played either indoors or outdoors

Divide everyone into groups of two, ask them to decide who is going to be blindfolded. Once blindfolded, ask their guide to come and look at the various task they have to teach, tasks such as playing catch, sitting in a specific spot, bouncing a ball, picking up a specific item. Have them try this for a while, once the blindfolded player has learnt how to do one of the tasks, move them onto another. After they have done these, give them even more specific goals. Examples could be to guide your partner to the equipment room and find a purple hula hoop. Another variation could be for teams to challenge each other to certain tasks.
