Two players at a time are blindfolded, and handed a cane or pole which is about 5 feet long. At one end is a long string which is tied to a lampshade. Players then try to hold the pole at one end and guide the lampshade down onto their head. The player who does it first wins. Play so that everyone has a turn, then the winners of each round go onto play again, so you end up with one overall winner.
