Everyone except one person is blindfolded, the chosen object is then hidden somewhere in the play area by the sighted person. Everyone blindfolded must then spin around and try to find the hidden object. The sighted person calls out directions the directions hot/hotter etc whenever someone starts to get near the object and cold/colder when they move away from it. The fun of this is nobody knows if it is them getting near the object or someone else. Once a player finds the object, the sighted player takes them out the play area and removes their blindfold. That player has to then sit silently and watch the rest of the game. The game is over when there is only one blindfolded player left.
