Hide a ticking kitchen timer somewhere in the room (don't put it behind or under things so that the player cannot reach or has to move things, but do vary the height). The players take turns being blindfolded and trying to find the purring kitten by following the ticking sound, with the other players helping theml to avoid hazards such as chairs and walls. For an added twist set the timer for a certain length of time -perhaps two minutes, to see whether the player can find it before the kitten stops purring
